Botox, Xeomin and Dysport injections temporarily weaken the skin’s muscles, reducing its ability to contract. No contractions mean no wrinkles, and skin smoother, tighter and wrinkle-free skin.

What can you expect during treatment?

• When you visit Cosmetic Laser Center our master injector will customize your Botox, Xeomin or Dysport injections by determining the amount and location of the injections you will need to meet your specific aesthetic goal.
• During treatments, a series of small shots are injected into the targeted muscles. A precise amount of product is carefully placed into each site for maximum, lasting results. The entire procedure takes 10-15 minutes and you will be able to return to your normal activities immediately.
• A topical anesthetic may be applied to your skin to minimize discomfort during your appointment. Some patients receiving Botox, Xeomin or Dysport injections report the injections feel like a pinch.
• You may begin to notice a visible smoothing of frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines within 24 to 48 hours, with results lasting up to 4 months for moderate to severe frown lines in adults.

Q. What Is The Best Age To Start Preventative Botox?

Although Botox is FDA-approved and available for patients 18 and older, most people start getting preventive treatments in their 20s and 30s. It's not about the number of candles on your birthday cake, it's about you and your skin.  As for the best age to start Botox, it’s reasonable to consider starting treatments when you begin to notice or are bothered by frown lines, forehead lines, etc. Because the best time to treat wrinkles is before they happen, rather than attempting to fix them after they’ve developed.

Your Botox or Xeomin treatment cost is hard to estimate until you attend your first consultation. The dosage and extent of treatment will vary from one individual to another.

Q. When will I see results?

You will begin to feel the effects 2-7 days after the treatment. The longevity of Botox, Xeomin and Dysport depends on three main things: your metabolism, your muscle strength and how active those muscles are. Some people will metabolize the product very quickly and will therefore need injections more often. Similarly, the stronger your muscles are, the more product you will need. Muscles we use frequently, such as the ones around the mouth and eyes, are more active and will need to be injected more frequently. Typically, results last a few months. Because these neuromodulators are temporary, it is best to come in every 3-4 months to maintain optimal results. Do not wait until it completely wears off, since there is a synergistic effect.
